Pumpkin Scented laurel
A polite request for a ricettina detox diet after the holidays!
The pumpkin is great when you come to think of the line, has a low caloric content, is rich in vitamin A (beta carotene) and is a source of potassium and iron.
In essence helps to relax wrinkles, combats free radicals and above is very good!
For the success of this dish is important that the pumpkin is at the right point of ripeness, sweet and compact so that ... threaten your vegetables!
Ingredients:
- 700g pumpkin type Mantua (green / gray outside and yellow inside) clean and cut into pieces
- 3-4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1 large onion golden
- 1 tablespoon chopped bay
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
1) Saute the chopped onion in three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2) Add the pumpkin and let it cook for a few minutes
3) Sprinkle with the vinegar, add the bay leaf and simmer with the lid closed
for 10-15 min, until the pumpkin will not be cooked but compact
4) Adjust salt and pepper and serve warm
